underground WT 137 or SWT 120

Postby fabinhoj » Thu Aug 07, 2003 2:30 pm

coming from a WT147, what board will be better for me the swt120 or wt137.
I am exchaging because sometimes is hard to keep my edge, but i won´t sacrifice too much low end.
I use R2´s, winds here are from 10 to 20 knots, some rough water (not too much) I am looking for a more confortable riding w/ higher and more controlable jumps.

SWT120 OR WT137 ? :?:

cheers
Fabio

ps-forgot to say, these will be my ony board !

Fabio

I ride R2s in a similar wind range and prefer the SWT120 - this is my all-round board. I am 85kgs and ride this board in 10knots with 20mR2 with front lines on the rear pigtail - great board. I do ride a 137 surf stix also for maxed out and very choppy conditions. But I think the SWT handles the chop very well. For the R2s I would definitely reccomend the SWT.

Hello there,
I have both WT 137 and SWT 110.
The SWT is a really fun board but as you have not much rail it goes overpower ealier expecially if the water is choppy.
I also had the WT 147 before and I found the same problem you are talking about specially as I'm only 65 kilos.
If you want a board for all go with the WT 137, is my choice in most of the condition.
Bye Jankie
