Hi,
Me: Durability & price! This is the first year since i started kiting that i wouldn't have changed gear (at least so early) if it wasn't for quality problems.
How about you? Why are you going/would like to change?

The necessity of pumping up my struts and leading edge. Totally new for me and takes more time

Having to tweak everything !
Getting a Best spinning bar and a t-shirt that says "Unhook"!! If you pull the pin while riding unhooked, you'll lose your chicken loop! Also way too much crap behind the bar, I took the spinner and moved it to below the depower strap, CL and front lines still spin. Switched to a Slingshot releasable hook, threw out all the other crap that came with it, and took the release out of the Best loop. I run 5th lines on all my kites., with or without pumpleash.
5th line systems that dont spin..Shift/Element.. so I built my own!
loop the kite...loop me...no line wrap, no crazy knots, bungees or bullshit.
In the proto stage, will ride it all winter. It will be the cleanest spinning bar available.
Before riding unhooked became in vogue, I built a spinning leash system that rocked!! RDR Shackle (see my site)..still hook up all my students with this. Then with all the unhooked moves..had to go back to the drawing board. I built the same bridal system as the Buster/Windwing using pulleys 3 years ago...it was a bitch adjusting knots etc...but it was the precursor to tilting the kite from the nose...since then have used simple 5th line ....
We are all getting closer.

Bladders bladders bladders. Hate the fucking things. Always leaking and then you fix them and then they link again. The way that most companies deal with warranty issues also sucks.
