Rock solid performance and stability: the 2005 Vision has the balanced feel serious riders demand. With Integrated Strut Technology and Fluid Drive wingtips, the Vision is the fastest turning, most precise handling kite you can get. New for 2005 is a simplified panel layout, refined airfoil and slightly improved de-power in the smaller size range for aggressive wave-riding, skate-style or boosting jumps. Carefully balanced for easy transition from one kite size to the next, the Vision is helping riders to take it to the next level in every way.

New for 2005 is Gaastra's 5th line component, DIMENSION5. DIMENSION5 easily retrofits to existing Gaastra bars and most competitors bars at a fraction of the price. DIMENSION5 delivers added safety, increased depower, extended wind range and hyper turning. Available mid January 2005. Watch for details soon.

Flat seam construction, wear protection reinforcements and integrated struts have all been refined for 2005, setting the durability standard in the kiting industry. SEAMLESS strut construction improves longevity and allows easy access for repairs.

With over twice the tear strength of the nearest competitor, the rip-stop canopy material specially designed for Gaastra kiteboarding holds up against the harsh environment of kiteboarding better than any other. Details such as 5th line attachment point, extra large purge valve, stopper valves in every strut for easy inflation and stopper valve sticks for easy deflation polish the 2005 Vision package.

Integrated Strut Technology
The strut is placed in the same plane as the lifting portion of the wing creating two attachment points instead of one. This improves the ability to control the airfoil within the airframe while stabilizing draft position. IST also increases life of the kite, as the exposed portions of the wing, most likely to be in contact with the beach, are heavier Dacron panels.

Posi-Loc Struts
When struts are mated firmly with the leading edge, the airframe behaves as a rigid structure. A rigid wing is more efficient and more stable. Posi-Loc Struts employ the most advanced airframe construction in the Kiteboarding industry.

Fluid Drive Wing Tips
A time-tested icon for Gaastra Kiteboarding, the Fluid Drive Wing Tips give Gaastra Kites superior turning speed, control and precision. This practical design blends the leading edge with the tip batten without making bladder repairs a struggle.
