Got a go on the 2006 Fuel this past Saturday. It's a VERY different kite than the 2005! MUCH faster turning and a greatly increased top end. Light on the bar too. It has an Octane-like speed, but still maintains a Fuel-like constant pull--which I prefer. The 15 easily spans the 13 gap this year. I am getting 7, 9, 11, 15 2006 Fuels this year. By moving the front lines all the way to the LE, it's more of an Octane, middle and rear settings are more Fuel-like. The new bar is super clean, and the 5th line works great.

I loved the kite! The 11 Fuel is unreal!!!!!

I just got my ’06 9m & 13m Fuels. I was able to fly the 9m on Friday in 25-35knts & and the 13m on Saturday in 15-25knts. These are really sweet kites. :thumb:

The cleat-able fifth line allows for an incredible range and tuning options. Still playing with wingtip connection point adjustments. I really noticed the slightly higher aspect & the wider wingtips from the ’05/'04 kites.

Best kite I have ever ridden... :mosh: Agree with input above on bar pressure, speed across window & turning speed... ~DtG

PS I havn't flown the Octane, so I can't comment or compare.
