Best Hellfish to benefit Claudio Silva

A few weeks ago, I promised a Hellfish 13m to Claudio to help with his rehab after a nasty kiteboarding accident. Well, we just transferred $1,299 (the cost of a new 13m Hellfish) into his PayPal account.

The purpose of this thread is to help Claudio raise even more money. Here's what I propose:

We are right now sending out Hellfish Demo kites to some our top retailers and reps around the world and obviously everyone wants a ride on one of these babies. If you get a chance to demo the Hellfish over the next few weeks, please take 5 minutes and donate $20 to Claudio via PayPal. When you buy a Hellfish, we'll throw in a free T-Shirt to cover your $20 donation. Also, after you demo the Hellfish, please post a short review of it here so as we can keep this thread on top and hopefully raise a lot of money for a fellow kiteboarder in need.

Demo Hellfish will be available this week in:

Delray Beach, FL - info@bestkiteboarding.com
Islamorada, FL - info@bestkiteboarding.com
Australia - KitePower Sydney - sydney@kitepower.com.au
Australia (WA) - Browneee@bigpond.net.au
UK - AirHead - info@air-head.com
UK - Simon - simon@bestkiteboarding.com
South Africa - WindSports - capetown@windsports.co.sa
California - Xtreme Big Air - Info@XtremeBigAir.com
San Fransico, CA - check the beach
Corpus Christi, TX - check the beach
Tarifa, Spain - sebastian@bestkiteboarding.com
Cabarete, DR - kim@bestkiteboarding.com
Mysterious Place, USA - PM Fokiten

This list will be added to later today / tomorrow.

And, even if you don't get a chance to demo a Hellfish, throw Claudio a little cash via PayPal - even a couple bucks helps.

Claudio's Paypal account is under claudio3@netrox.net

Just go to http://www.paypal.com/ and send some cash to Claudio.

Hey Alex, can't you send it to ASI in Portland too? Get it out in the Gorge... probably a couple thousand riders out here.

ok you're joking about fokiten on the demo list, right? i mean, every kite that goes out for demos puts those of use who've already forked over hard-earned cash farther back on the wait list.

isn't fo the same guy who used to post endlessly about that "win-a-free-kite, "where's my free-kite bitch" nonesense (practically a best-basher at that point)

shoot fo a demo if you want --- but how about *after* us ordinary joe's who are floating the dough to finance the fish get their turn. :P

I can foresee many, many posts saying, "hey, send a Hellfish to XYZ so we can try it..."

Well, if you donate some $$ to Claudio, we'll consider it...

I'd like to see posts that say, "Hey, just got a couple buddies together and we donated $100 to Claudio, who about a demo?"

Answer to that may be a "yes" - answer to the first will definately be a "no"

Santa Barbara CA would be a very compelling demo/test site for the 'Fish... we have gorgeous beaches, warm (in the summer) turquoise waters and what may be the most consistently gentle and why-did-i-even-rig-up boring wind on the entire Pacific Coast (san diego may vie for that title but i doubt it).

If Gumball sends his rep down from Pismo after the session up there i'll do my best to help promote the occaision.... the way the old guys around here pump cash into brand new gear-- so they can mow the effing lawn-- may suggest a signficant market for the ambitiously expensive silver kite. If i can actually have fun on a standard SB thermal day i will definitely be impressed......

EDIT: shit, definitely owned by Alex's post immediately above mine. A demo here in SB still seems to me like a smart tactical move market-wise tho......

pjc,

The kite I'm expecting is a prepoduction proto type, it's less refined than that fully refined production kite you should RIGHTLY expect to own for your hard earned cash.

Hey,,,I'm stoked to get it, it's alleged to be the "best" kite I've ever flown, but still a full notch below the full production model...

So don't be pissy,,,he's doing you and me right.

(what better use for a non logo'd non serial numbered pre production kite)

He has made a VERY wise decision if you ask me,,,smile

I'll post a review as soon as I can,

g-ball is still a bitch, as are you all in my eyes,,LOL

Just Chill Bitch!!,, fo got-a fingerling fish in da mail; it's no skin off your ass,,Beeatch

Regards
fo

Thanks g-man

I'll get on the charity thing,,,nice work
