Faro wind speeds/kite sizes

Postby billb » Wed Jul 19, 2006 1:51 pm

Hi

I am traveling to faro at the end of this week for a holiday, what are the typical wind speeds for this time of year. Will the wind be above 25 knots at all, tyring to avoid bringing to many kites.

thanks for any advice

Bill

For summer time in Faro, Algarve, I would take a 16m + 12m or a 14m. I see no need to take less than 12m.

See you!

Wind average from 12-25 knots, mostly around 18 knots.

Depending on your weight ill say 12-9mtrs.

If you want to know the spot check http://www.4kiters.com and give a ring.
