Jet flaps on tubekites.

Why are there no jet flaps at tube kite???
Does anyone have the answer?

The kite itself is one giant jet flap. just sheet in and out...

think he is refering to this concept found on the skywalk paragliders to smooth airflow at steeper aoa's

any venting would need to be as strong as the canopy as the canopy is under tension on an inflatable,on a lilo you can build an internal structure.

maybe some day...

that looks really cool but how would that help kitesurfing? more power? I also wondered what would happen if you designed a biplane type of kite i.e. a kite with two airfoils, but I guess twin skins have that somewhat covered.

Might make sense to come up with a workabe double sided airfoil before worrying about jet flaps.
