Naish Raven 05 with 07 DD bar

Postby harppa » Tue Apr 03, 2007 11:11 am

I got a Naish Raven 12m 2005 with 07 DD shift bar.
Any tips how to tweak it? It works fairly good but if I pull the bar to my belly it oversheets the kite. I don´t know is this the way but feels like particularry when landing jumps that I cannot steer the kite fast enough to get going. Or is this just the way this kite work?
The bar is 22" so one size bigger than it should be. Could this have some bad affects?

Lengthening the backlines should normally help. Do you already use the knots furthest away from the bar?

This has nothing to do with the DD feature or the width of the bar. Just lengthen the back lines or shorten the fronts by moving knots to cure any oversheeting problem.
