16m too big for Puerto Rico?

Postby joeyb » Thu Mar 22, 2007 7:33 am

Taking a little vacation in Puerto Rico next, and I don't want to take extra gear I probably wouldn't use.

Is a 16m (Rebel) too big for Puerto Rico?

Will be bringing a directional and a 12m.

Am only planning on kiting in the surf.. Ocean Park & Shacks.. etc

I can't find this info anywhere! :(

Thanks :bye:

You most likely will not need your 16 most people here ride 9 and 12.

It is usually blowing between 15-25mph, only a few guys have bigger kites and they rarely use them.

For weather forecast use http://www.noaa.gov they have the best forecast windguru does not work here.

If you have any questions check out http://www.kitesurfpr.com or email me.
