buying surfboard in brazil

Postby reinis » Wed Nov 14, 2007 12:51 pm

so, i`ve imagined to buy a regular surfboard in viccinity of paracuru/cumbuco and sell it (in case i don`t brake it) when i leave. is it a good plan?

perhaps there is someone who is willing to get rid of his shortboard in beginning of december?

a 6`-6`6`` not wider than 20`` preferably 8)

There is a shaper in Caucaia, close to Cumbuco. He started to shape kitesurfboards with straps. Go to HiLife Kiteschoon in CUmbuco, and ask for the boards, they should have some for sale, or can get you in touch with the guy.

Hello,

We are in Brazil until Dec 15th... In the Taiba area...

I have an extra Jimmy Lewis 6ft Epoxy Surf in good condition with dakine deck pad and inserts/straps....A few surface scratches but nothing structural, very tough board, just put 3 new future fins in it...

Asking $400 US, retail in US ~$800 plus pads etc...

We are in Taiba and usually at the Lagoon daily.

More here...

http://www.realkiteboarding.com/index.c ... uctID=8213

It is the black and white one... I can take pics, but it is in great condition...

PM me or email me at mjolley(at)u.washington.edu if in Brazil and interested. Can just sell it when I get home, but would rather just sell it here.

Matt
