Anyone know the differences of these board for lightwind?
Here are the boards:

Should i got for the shorter/ fatter vs the longer/ narrow?
Im 195 and we have medium/very low chop. Winds around 14mph. I want to be able to at least have a little fun on the board. Anyone have any other suggestions, spleene 154 maybe (but that is pretty narrow)?
Thanks guys!,
JW

I would suggest the shorter fatter. A wider board will always plane faster then a longer board.
I have the 2008 Crusier Pro 145x44 and Im 190-195 lbs. THis is the most fun and verstile light wind board you can have IMO. Im very happy with it. I have had this board in the 20 knot range and it still holds an edge very well. The board planes very fast.
The CF footstraps are the best in the industry IMO.
Good luck. Find a local shop and try them both out.
