I need answers to these questions too?
What is the difference in rocker between the Bullet and the Kontact? anybody riden any big waves on the Bullet. bit weird how it marketed as a small wave board.
The Bullet 5'10" hads a cut of nose so really its bigger than the 6'1" kontact?
will there be bifferent boards for 2010 or do they keep the same line. was wondering if they would make a 6'3" maybe or a 6'1" with a bit more width for the heavier rider.

I suggest you put your question in the main forum, nobody reads this one from what I can see.

I own the 5'10" Bullet and absolutely love it. I'm about 11.5st (75kg) and use it strapless in medium to light winds. It flies upwind and is nice and loose for tail sliding when you want it to be. It's a very smooth ride and just about the easiest board to gyde. It's a bit heavier then a regular surfboard or the Kontact range. Without the cut off nose the board would be about 6' or 6'1". The Bullet is about 18 3/4 wide with a decent bit of volume, but not too much to make it unwieldy
I have ridden the 6'1" Kontact. It's a narrower and has much more rocker and a narrower tail than the Bullet. It's not really suited to the conditions we get in the UK (on shore, less powerful surf). Although i don't use footstraps, the inserts are quite far apart. If you are under 6' i'd definately take a look at one before buying to see if it suits you. Probably better for bigger surf and high winds
The 2010 boards are out very soon so you might pick up some deals.

I just bought the Wainman 5,8' and it is insanely fun. It is fast, goes up wind well, slashes waves, and is also beautiful looking. I ride Rebels but this is the ultimate board for me

The new 2010 Freestyle fish and a new 5'8" (don't remember width) model was in the local shop the other day - didn't take any pictures as I thought they'd be kicking around the net but for some reason there not.
Good looking boards
PS shop was windsurf n snow for anyone in Sydney that wants to have a look

Strap placement is personal preference and depends on your conditions. Move them around, try it out. I have the 08 freestyle fish, most of time I ride without straps. The front hook provides security when needed, mostly when getting slammed by beach break. My straps go on when it gets choppy, because of the flat rocker and width, the FF tends to bounce around.
