How is Shinn Monk rail to rail slashing and chopriding?

Info please! I like concave boards, OR Mako is best but not tough enough for me... might a big ape be the answer for me?

I moved from the OR Mako to the 2010 Nobile T5, it's smooth through chop, but still not the Mako. Definitely a compromise as it does have more pop in the flats.

The Monk is very nice for carving and can be ridden fast through the chop without nosediving. Much better than many of the state of the art freestyle boards. But the Monk is still a freestyle board and not a dedicated choprider/freeride board. It depends on the conditions and maybe there is another board in the new line up that fits better.
