Are these boards right for us?

Postby KitingT-rex » Sat Nov 02, 2013 5:05 pm

Hi,

Me and my friend are both surfers who just got into kiting. We are both looking for a board which we can ride strapples. There are a couple of nice offers in the neighberhood and we are interested in two of them.

The first is the north whip from 2012, they only have the 5,8
The second one is the naish skater, they only have the 5,9

Over here there are a lot of windswels. Winds differ from onshore to sideshore conditions both lightwind as highwind.

We are 72 and 78 kilograms.

Are the options we've selected right for us?

No they won't be too big, the rule of thumb is to ride a board 2" longer than yourself.
As you are quite light the whip would probably be perfect.
