I can only comment on the Spade 5'6" as I just recently got it. I can compare it to DHD Ben Wilson's White noise 5'11".
It feels much stronger (obviously) and it rides pretty good. The thinner rails do make a huge difference. Jumping over chop and throwing it around feels much better on the Spade due to its construction so freestyling feels pretty solid. Even on bigger jumps it seemed to stay stable in the air and on the landing.
But when the surf is really good, I personally prefer ride on my DHD PU board.
