The European Course racing chamionships is the race going on in France now right? In that race so far 1st Adam Koch (Mike's Lab), 2nd Riccardo Leccese (Mikes Lab as well?), and 3rd Julien Kerneur (RRD)

Seems like those are all competitive. I just wasn't sure what was meant by "cleaned up completely in the Europeans..." I haven't ridden any of them, but a buddy just got a new Aguera CR69 LE, so I'll let you know how that goes once we get some wind. The wait for the Aguera boards wasn't too bad. I believe 6 weeks from the time of ordering. Mikes Lab has a very long wait for the hand built ones (I believe 9 months+), but he's doing a production run in a factory soon which will solve that problem. I've been riding a 59 cm board dialing my tacks and jibes. Now that there are some other racers in my area I'm looking at all the same boards as you for a competitive board. Are you better off getting a cheap board to ride on? I didn't have anyone to ride against, so it worked good for me.

Yes i contacted Mike he says a new run from Thailand comes in October i also contacted Alex, he says the CR69 id $1600 plus fins and Mikes is almoast a $3000 dollar board with fins and shipping so i guess my best bet is the RRD Krace but my question is it if it is competitive? the 2012 and how long would you think it will stay competitive??? also did Julien compete in the Europeans with K race or with K rapida??? Thanks.

Is the NJS CF6 about the same price as all the other boards?
It seems like the main difference in the newer boards was that the backs of the boards come to a point when you are looking at it from above (see RRD, North, Aguera, Mikes Lab...). I had heard this was to stop the nose of the board from bouncing up and down when you are going downwind.
The pictures you show of the NJS CF6 have the back of the board like most of last years boards, where the transom is straight. Do you notice any difference in ride quality downwind compared to other boards?
