the last course race stop of the PKRA will be held in Germany, at St. Peter-Ording:
http://www.kitebeaches.com/component/op ... ow/id,817/

Wind Forecast:
http://www.windfinder.com/forecast/skt_peter-ording

Bruno Sroka is already 2007 course race champion, but the 2+3 place is pretty close between Sean Farley and Sami Gali.

Alos very close are Angela Peral and Steph Bridge, both with one victory and one second place. So Germany will be the big final!

Unfortunately my bag never made it from Fuerteventura, so I have NO gear at all.
But I'm sure I will surprise you with the gear I will be using...at least for the first 1-2 races, if this doesn't work out, I have to rearrange!

Stay tuned, Friday is registration and I will be at the location reporting from there!

Wish me luck!

We have 10 women and 24 men registered for racing!

Even guys like SKy Solbach and Ken Winner signed up for racing!

No wind on the first day, skipper's meeting tomorrow 8:30!

Looks like we gonna race!

yes, but don't forget the current...I could barely stay upwind with a Flysurfer 19 and monster door!!! There is no bigger gear than that!

And we were not ready until 14:00...but tomorrow we will start early.

ok, today we did 3 races...I cannot feel my legs anymore!
So tough!

Anyway, I had a good first race, came in 7th, then a shitty one with 12th and the last 9th.
My overall now is 7th for the German Course Race.

Since my gear still didn't make it from Fuerteventura (no 12 days missing), I too something completely different...a Flysurfer Silver Arrow 19.
And a Spleene Door 164! This is an awesome lighter wind setup...the foil goes upwind perfectly, so does the board. Still others are better, but I think to take a directional in the next race...Tilmann, who is the fastest GPS kiter with 52.9 knots, shaped a race board, which I will try tomorrow, to see if I can be even better with this one.
On my last race I took a 15 sqm Flysurfer Speed.

The races where dominated by the Spaniard Sami Gali, who just went upwind so well...and his girlfriend as well, so looks like the boards they use are currently in these conditions the way to go...

Bruno, already race world champion of the PKRA, had no chance and scored overall 6th, one position before me.

Second overall is Sky Solbach and the biggest surprise is Flysurfer's Armin Harich, who is partner in the company and head of design...he has an overall ranking of 3rd!
Armin never raced in course racing before, and used the Silver Arrow 19 and the Spleene Door...this is very amazing and Armin super happy!
He is even before Sean Farley, Ken Winner and Bruno Sroka!

Now it would be very interesting, if Armin takes a directional, what position he would get with it...since Directionals are always scoring top rankings.

It will be also interesting, if we have stronger winds, how and if the ranking will change.

But I'm sure, that with my Rhino2 20 I would never have scored that good.
I will also try a directional the next days...so we will see if this changes anything...but I cannot jibe that good, so I have to think about something there...

The world champion fight between Angela Peral and Steph Bridge is still going on, with Steph being 2nd behind Gina Esteva, but before Kristin Boese and Angela Peral.

Stay tuned for more!

Toby, so how did you like the 15m,
and don't you think PMU is going to lose more creditibility now with the evidence at PKRA :?:

I had each days yesterday and today 3 hrs session on the same kite
and found boosting and hangtime is incredible in over 20 - 22 knots.
