Hai,

we are talking about the T2 17 and the Maco wide 150 then. Would You please be so kind to tell what exactly the T2 is? "T2" was a light Tank (M1) in WW 2!
Brand, model of the kite?

Holly tomatoes :yumyum: how do you decide witch board are you going to use each time ? throwing a coin ? or what .... I can understand to have a full quiver of kites but 5 boards ?

By the way ... to your question ....on flat water I think you can go up wind barely moving so 1-2 knots speed ?

Saludos
PS . Klaus ...I think he wanted to say TD2

11-12 knots for 2-3 foot waves.
Sustained 10 knots for flat water (cruising only)

Use the flatest, widest board possible (>43 cm wide >145 long), it's the most importnt factor for light winds.

jumping 1m: 10knots
jumping 2m: 12knots

I can barely lift the TD 2 with 7/8 knots. I have never heard of anyone doing upwind with this speed. As a matter of fact even doing downwind with this speed is hard.
