Hi, I'll be racing "seriously "for the first time within 3 weeks.

I have deepely read all the threads, advices and suggestions you all have posted.

I have a windsurfing background and I used to course race in the late 90's.

At least for this very first time I'll be racing on a Twin Tip + Cabrinha SB III kites.

Is there any further advice you may want to give me?
Thank you in advance.

I'll try to. I'll close my eyes and I'll tighten my jaws as if I was doing 300 mph, but,... any other advice, please?

never get tangled and stay within the rules...made me finish all races none being last!

train before, ride the course before the race starts. Work on your physical strength, it will be hard on your body.

make sure you have a good stopper so you can relax your arms.

less tacking will be better, try to do one tack to the upwind buoy...be careful riding downwind, bend your knees and always keep pressure on the back foot to avoid falling on the speed track.

good luck!

I'm not a racer, but I have watched a few. You will probably need a directional race-board if others in your fleet have them, unless you are doing it just for the fun of it!
