Yo World:
Looking at some used Waroos that i might get to replace my aging Nemis.
Looking for your opinions on what year Waroos you all thought was the best. i.e. did you like the 06 waroos or the 07 or 08 and why?
thanks

I've tried 06 and 08. The 06's were fine I guess, nothing special. They pulled a lot for their size and all that. The 07 I've heard was shit, didn't try it myself but not many will have great things to say about it. The 08 was actually a pretty nice kite. Has that whatchamakalit bridle on it so it unhooks decently. Its not a C kite for unhooked by any stretch but its sure a great all around kite. Go 2008 for sure bro. Looks like best has some on their pre-owned section

anyways good luck dude

08 all the way. 9m is the cherry size. I wouldn't even consider pre 08.

interesting... What was so terrible about the 07s? Im looking to buy a 9m kite and definitely considering a waroo (i though 07-09 were identical). Anyone know if a waroo would work with my LiquidForce 09 4 line bar?

the 06 12m is great, pulls a lot, has massive windrange and depower and a very simple bar

My wife and have '06 12m and 20m. We have '07 7m, 11m, and 15m. The '06s are more grunty and slow turning. They r also stable and very floaty jumpers. The '07s r faster and a little less floaty. If you like to park and ride go 06. If you like more progressive moves go 07. The 08's don't seem to pull as well as the others. My wife tried a friends and was less than impressed. We ride inland lakes in gusty conditions...imho...

Love my '07's and would buy them again. I had heard the 06's had some problems with fluttering and stuff.

Try the 09 - they are better than the 08, especially for freestyle on A-C setting!
