Hi everybody,
i am a beginner and i just bought a second-hand turbo 3 (11m).
Compared to my previous RPM (12m) the turbo 3 seems to be much slower but very good to relaunch even in ligth wind.
I just have a doubt about the bar connection to the kite: which setting is the most efficient?
last time i tried 1st knot on the the front line and the 2nd on the backlines.
Next time i'd try the 1st on he frontlines and the 3rd on the backlines.
what do you think?
could it be a good setting?
please let me know your opinion...
ciao

For my Key(which I assume would be similar to the T3) and RPMs I like to put the front lines on the third not and the back likes on the first. They don't oversheet as much. This way you can ride unhooked without having to pull your depower cord as much. GIve er a try. Here is a couple shots of my buddy on his T3 7 meter.

For the best ride with the Turbo put all the lines on the same knot, i ussually used the middle knot all the way around.

OceanAdventures gives good advice!!
I have tried depowering the T3 in higher winds by making the back lines longer by one knot and the kite becomes very tough to control (setup is 2:1). Others have shared with me the same advice - it really rides best when all lines are on the same knot. My experience is with an 11m.
