Does it work? It is fun and / or easy to ride compared to multi-fin raceboards?

Windsurfers have been doing exactly that for 20+ years!

That fin is a long way back on the board, dont you find your back foot taking all the pressure? How come you decided to have the fin so far back? just wondering.

Did a proto like that a while back and couldn't keep the nose down on the water when going upwind.
How does this baby behave.?

Hi,

I disccussed last year with a guy who was using a "twoag" board , single fin
he told me upwind angle was quite poor but the downwind speed was insane

It works. Specially for the new discipline (slalom).
Trying and working on it 1 year now. I even try to kite on windsurfboards (slalomboards) the solution is near...

Way faster than anything

I say it for one year now. Three fins are STILL good for course racing (many are going that way lately...)
4 fins are obsolete. But the way forward show us that 1 fin is the fastest and can be the best solution (and cheapest !!!). Less is MORE .
Still many things are needed to be done. (specially on the bottom of the board)
The hand, i thing you are getting close...

I think its very likely there will be a very popular Kite slalom series.

The windsurfing one has been very successful for many years, and I think the same format would work for kites.

It might work to sharply deepen the Vee at the front end of the flat area, to act like a stabilising keel for going upwind, then lift it out of the water for downwind and gybing.
