another thing to try crossed my mind...instead of holding the board as flat as you can, it could also help to cant it.....thus more cutting through the chop instead of bouncing over it.
Another way is not to tack as high upwind as you would do normally, this way you attack the chop in another angle, you will not tack as high upwind but you shure will be a bit faster, instead of being bounced from left to right.
Also your board has a huge surface and volume which gives the chop a good bite and you bounce from one chop to another.
maybe a good solution would also be to tension your muscles to the maximum, which make you cut through the chop more effectively, instead of starting this uncontrollable bouncing...and flying the kite more in a low position, this will be the hard way, or as I mentioned before flying your kite a bit higher, but it will make you more vulnarable to get airborn easier ....try before you die
I will try it next time too...I finally got my Zephyr in, this together with my new Airush Sector 60...
Will be fun to fight the chop...
