Help, question about racing

Opinions needed to help me with an article. Each person has different strengths and weaknesses, I would like different opinions to help me understand those specific to racing.

1. How do the demands on your body when racing differ from other types of kiting? (Unique physical demands of racing?)

2. What gives out first? (quads, hamstrings, calves, ankles, back, core, shoulders?)

3. Are you sore the next day? If so, what body part? (keep it decent guys :) )

Thanks so much! This is a huge help.

1) You are doing much longer runs than you would when you ride "normally". There is a lot of pressure on your legs and lower back.

2) Quads are definitely the 1st thing to go. The next muscle that goes is the one on your shins ( I have no idea what its called)

3)If you do the full 8 Races a day you are damn sore. Mainly the quads and other leg muscles, but also the lower back.
