Round 3 has kicked off in Mui Ne, Vietnam! The wind that was pre-ordered for the event seems to be held up somewhere, maybe in customs... But that hasn’t stopped anybody from enjoying the event.
A beach bbq opened the event after registration, bonfire and fire dancing included! Head judge, Stephan Hertig, briefed the riders on freestyle and course racing rules and tips at the first riders meeting. Riders also heard about the addition of our Twin Tip race category, getting more riders learning and interested in competing in an event set to make Olympic appearance in 2016. And while beach games were underway on day 2 the wind did decide to blow a bit. 2 course races were completed. As twin tippers struggled to get upwind we had some interesting finishes with results posted at http://www.kiteboardtour.asia/results10 ... ietnam.pdf , inclusive of our special Twin Tip category results.
Now Day 3 we sit, we wait, we hope, and we update KiteForum
