I fly Naish and RRD kites and have used a 2008 Naish bar for both without any problem. Now I find the need to replace it. If one were to use only one bar for multiple kites, what would you recommend?

If you're using only one bar on different-size kites, you should get of of these "one size fits all" bars where you can change the bar's length with double backline attachment option... Quite a few brands make these, but ones that come to mind are Blade, Epic, Switch...

I would get a new Naish bar since it's a good bar and you have Naish-kites. The RRD bar doesn't look as good. The Naish bar is a one size fits all if I remember correctly and it has really long depower throw with a moveable stopper, so you don't have to worry when flying a kite that is made with a long-depower-bar in mind.
Some other nice bars: Ozone (though different release), Nobile (if you like the plastic chickenloop), North.

otherwise you have the 2011 kite attitude bar:

for all brands, inexpensive (~170€), and the releaser is certified.
cheers,
s.

Mate, just to be sure if you are using a different bar... I would check that the safety,s are compatible IE: single front (Naish/Ozone ECT)...... both front (North/ Cabrinaha ECT), you never know when your going to need them.
