There is a You Tube video:"North Rebel 2012 and Free Race 2012" that you can watch...also on North website there is a short video of board ...it is not the same size as last year 2011 model at 5'4 1/2" by 18 5/8"(164x47.5) ...Freerace 2012 is now measures 5'9" by 20" wide (175.2x50.8) and 2 3/8" thick.. ...mini tuttle tri-fin as you know...the twin fins in 2011 were 14cm long(5.5 inches)...from what i can see the three fins in 2012 are longer by "about" 7.6cm (3 inches) for a total of 8.5 inches long...looks like a great board...never had a chance to try yet...i am still on my 2011 Freerace..Hope this helps you a bit.

Saw a proto of the 2013 North board. Looked nice. The development speed in raceboarding is insane.

Hello,

I have the north freerace 2012.
My weight is 82 kg.
Low wind: I tried in 8 - 10 knots wit a bandit 3 10 m kite but that's nog working.
Then I tried with my naish park 14 m and what a difference. Very good upwind, speed nog fast just cruising. But then the wind get stronger , about 15 knots. Now we have An other story; cruising change into speed :D . Jibing, jumping, upwind...

Today I go out in wind between 20 and 32 knots with the north freerace and bandit 3 10 m.
The board go to fast and I couldn't controlled it .
So I take my naish haze 132 and go again. I had a really good speed and a good controle.

Why I can not controle the board in high wind?
Is it my technique of is the board not made for + 20 knots?
Do I have to ride the board on the rail or flat?

Try a smaller kite. I haven't ridden the free race, but on my raceboard, I can go upwind with my 7.5m kite in 16 or 17 knots of wind. 10 meter kite, plus 32 knots is very powered on a twin tip, way overpowered on a (free)raceboard.
