I mean if you look at the Naish board, their fins are already designed by Rista. I think he had a hand in the board design too as far as I know, but I am not 100% on this....and it looks killer too. Bamboo and carbon rails...

bamboo and carbon rails do not a fast board make…they are also pretty old Rista designs that are a little small for anything remotely competitive.
its a great board to start out with but is a little behind the times now

All production boards will have the problems of dated parts. For good or bad. I certainly cant afford buying new fins every three months.
Not too many boards here so it is a little hard to judge..but the board fared well in the competition here. Obviously I know The bamboo doesn't make the board faster but it does make it look great which for a hobbyist matters a little too
