I relish a storm session. wind blowing 30-40 knots monster surf. A battle of the elements a test of survival.scary as hell. but damn fun. found myself almost in a barrell in storm conditions on the weekend. rode the wave which jacked up and up and was riding a near vertical wall, was hunkering down like a pipelinem surfer., popped out and got slapped on the back by the lip as i dodged impending doom. yeha.
I also love a good clean wave session. boosting on the way out off the waves lips and riding the wave upwind to do it all over again..
I also enjoy a high speed monster distance boost with insane glide. No max height but max distance. If i can land that monster boost on the front of a wave face and ride the wave out that is the wholy grail for me.

Today thanks for asking 2 hour session alone with 2 friends on Taiba Lagon, 25 knots. After 10 km downwinder in fun waves to Paracuru wind pick up to close to 30 knots, blue skies no gusts that really stokes me.

The flying!
Hitting a nice ramp with a smooth liftoff.
A smooth landing after a multiple rotation.

Big jumps and hangtime... for now... playing in the waves and doing rotations and different kinds of transitions is cool... but nothing makes me go WOOHOO like a fricken big jump!

I think the really big days, strapless where its just a rush to be amongst big water and weather are the biggest and longest lasting stoke, but what i tend to daydream about are those perfect days where its only say 4-5 foot but they just seem to be perfectly spaced, formed, practically harmless and there for the shredding. Its in those conditions that the riding is best and you can put together turns instead of one hit wonders. The airs are bigger and your practically fearless cause there is little consequence. Perfect play. After that variables like how long its been since your last decent day, and novelty come into it.
Winter is the king of novelty. Sometimes there is killer snow, sometimes its an errosion cliff/drift or the kicker you just built.
Lastly one of the greatest joys of my kiting career that happens on a semi regular basis are the solo scores. Those days where you are the only one nuts enough to go and you score huge. Might be mid week or late/early in the season, but there is something about having the whole freaking place as far as you can see in good conditions all to yourself. The stereo is definitely cranked on the way home from those ones!
