Tacking upwind racing

Postby MattyRossJa » Fri Aug 17, 2012 3:02 am

Just a quick query

I'm an avid sailor and we have a regatta coming up and wanted to join in this time on my kiteboard.

I know sailing u can sail approx. 20-40 degrees to the wind depending on sails etc.

i was wondering what the average angle to the wind kitesurfers go while racing upwind.

on average say 15-20 knots of wind

bless
