Temps around the mid 20s but if you hit a new anticyclone spell the chill effect is there.

I am going to be in Mauritius two weeks end of September.
I will only take a 1mn lycra for sun protection.
On the other hand, I kite in UK with a 2/3 wetsuit so I believe that I should be able to handle the extreme Mauritius cold water

Definately take a 2mm shortie suit - at the very least a 1mm NEOPRENE vest, not lycra.
Have been 4 x times to Le Mourne Sept/Oct and always used the 2mm.

I arrived in Le Morne 2 days ago and everyone seems to have a full wetsuit 3/2 or at least a shorty. Fortunately I could find one wetsuit.
