Hi
There doesn't seem to be much discussion around set-up for women kite racers. Do they use the same size fins? or smaller eg 38cm.
It would seem that the top women still use the same 70cm wide boards and don't opt for anyhting much narrower.
Appreciate any advice

It goes by weight and not sex check out Rista website. He has a fin selector, which is basically based on weight. Personally I think there are a lot more variables to worry about for fin selection, but that is me..and I am not very good at this.
In addition to weight I would assume the leg strength is important.

Erica describes her fins in this (at 6:30), but she would have different sets for different conditions, and maybe even different boards. Paolo Rista links fin size to board width too.

Ronnie that makes so much sense to me. I ride in smooth super light wind conditions, and I ride in more windy, ultra chop, and those two bring about completely different sets of challenges
I'd go as far as saying different types of conditions would easily benefit form having very different boards AND fins. That said, it is unfeasible for most of us to afford a board for each different possible configuration
