North Nugget vs Nobile Wood Skim

Postby windrider11 » Tue Feb 26, 2013 4:49 am

Looking for a lightwind surf board, small wave machine and from my research these two seem to be a good choice. Has anyone tried both? Nobile is half the price and does pretty much the same thing as the Nugget from what I've read. Would appreciate some impressions on the Nobile.

Thanks in advance :)

Spend the money on the nugget, its the best all round light wind wave board, used loads of skim boards not the nobile, nugget wins, couple of days ago riding beach break light wind going down beach break about a mile 2 tacks back where i started,to do it all over again, amazing fun board, hope this helps,TONY

Hi everyone. Nuggett for sure. This is a pic of a wave light wind session that I had two days ago.
Best regards
Carlo

You can also consider the Naish Fish sligthly less planing in very low wind than the Nuggett but better in waves.

Thanks for the advice guys. My only problem is that the Nugget is so damn expensive, like $1000, which seems unreasonable. I think I'll also take a look at the Fish, maybe I can find a better deal on that.

So why do you ask if it's so "damned" expensive for you ?

Relax indo. If you can't offer any advice, better to shut up, don't you think.

My initial post was for a comparison and I was asking about the Nobile board more than the Nugget.
Read and try to comprehend before asking stupid questions.

Hey Windrider,

Nobile is super fun to ride in waves and works great in light winds.

Grab one from last year or something.

1000 for a North skim? wow...

Is Fish Liquid Force board? If so, my friend owned one for like a week, he got rid of it real quick for some reason.

Thanks kuczwas.

I actually found a Nobile at my local dealer for about $450, much less than the Nugget. The Fish is actually a Naish surf board. LF's got one too, similar name, but they're very heavy, maybe that's why your buddy got rid of it.
