size skimboard for kiting?

Postby laz » Mon Jun 10, 2013 6:01 am

I am 160 pounds. Will be using it on Lake Michigan in 2-6 foot waves. I can do shove its, slash waves and simple stuff. I am no pro but not a beginner at strapless either.

Kind of confused what size I should even be looking for. 49 too small? 52 or 55? I want to use it for normal skimboarding without the kite too so would probably rather not get a kite specific one plus I would never use the fins anyways.

Also if anyone is selling one and would ship it PM me. I live by Chicago so no surf shop to go look around.

Thanks a bunch
