Hi all,
Not easy to find used or new speed board in Eu.
Im searching a speed board for open sea and also one for flat water.
Someone have something used and good for sale? New?

I must say that i have never tried kite speed board but i like speed on windsurf and now i would like to experience what means speed on kite specific equipment.

Now i use Ozone Edge 2013 in sizes 17,13,10,7 with race board.

Sugestions etc welcome.

Hi,

I would recomend mike's lab.
This guy makes boards for all the best guys.
I am sure you could get something similar to
what Rob Douglas(world record holder) has.

If you have a race board now try something smaller.
Like a slalom version of a race board.

Other's to check out would be Tema Vento.

Go for a custom board and talk to the designer about
where you ride,how you ride, what you are looking for in
a board ect. Pay the extra money and get something real special.
You will end up with fewer boards ,but with ones you want to keep forever.

The only draw back to going this route is the wait time.
You may have to wait 6 months to get a top board from a
top shaper.

Another thing to think about is the fins. The Shaper may have
an opinion about what fins to ride on this board. This will
also have some lead time to deal with aswell.

Disclosure: right now I am getting my regular custom directional that I
love to ride converted to hold the hydrafoil.

Since i come from Formula windsurfing i know how important is to tune boar with right fins.Its crucial for best performance and fun.
Im not sure that i want hi wind slalom board.
I have good quality speed spot wery close to my home.Super flat water and some insane winds when Eol wants.
Im thinking about dedicated speed board, and how to get hands on new or used one,and posibly from someone from EU to shorten the waiting times.
Toys that is used for speed event in Luderitz.
Someone have something to offer?

Underground seems the board to go becose its twin tip oriented speed board so that means i dont need two boards to run starbord or port tack.
It seems a reasonable compromis board for beginer.
Now im waiting reply from Underground.
