Have a read:

IKA AGM will gather in a couple of days.
Hope that the members of the meeting will take wise decisions.
Whatever will be decided there, the Polish Kiteboarding Association plans to introduce one-design foilboarding class in Polish competitions 2016. BTW. it will be 11th (eleventh) year of the Ford Kite Cup!

It’s going to be one-design hydrofoil, one-design board, one design two kites (large & small) and a control system. We want to test one-design class in practice believing it might become the White Board Concept soon. Most of you know how much we are committed into the idea of the WBC which got a big support from manufactures, riders and national associations.

The idea will be finalized in coming days. I will update it next week. The NoR will be presented in March. We want to invite you to have fun with us and to check who is the best rider instead who uses the best gear. All competitors will be riding the same gear!
You don’t need to bring your gear – just wetsuit and harness. Sounds good?

Generally, we are planning racing series in heats of 5-6 riders with eliminations and finals. Maximum amount competitors will be restricted. How many? I don’t know yet. Depends of the organizers and PKA limits, formats and your interest.

Please share this news with your representatives going to the IKA AGM. Hope that they will spend some minutes to talk about it.

this sounds all good - the busine$$ heads get involved thinking about lning thier pockets with potential money from industry before it all even exists - errr sound familiar... lol

the easy solution is open source with measuring in - like optimists....

designed to keep costs down (minimum weights of foils and boards)

before comps you have measuring in - someone is always going to argue something bad about this but it worked for 150 000 affordable optimists - what are there - 6 people in the world still riding formula kite - and why "because i might win" lol

This is excellent! I cannot wait to see the results! It's very much needed. Hopefully as the above mentioned the measurements and specs will be open sourced so anyone can manufacture, but specific enough to keep them all even.
