I just saw the website of Nobile, and their new QR.
Does anybody have experience w/ the Nobile Fulcrum QR?
Is it already available? I think the idea is really good. However, what about sand jamming it?
Kind regards
Mathias

Not sure if I had the final version, but I jumped and then released the QR, so it releases fine under load. And no problem putting it back on the water.
Didn't put sand in it, but I don't see how that can block the release in any way. But for sure, it should be tested.
Mark? How about a video where you put lots of sand over it and then release?

Hi Toby,
Thank you for the reply
Can you tell us a bit more about the quick release, how it feels, how easy it was to release, how you like the chicken loop (molded) etc.
You seem to be one of the few people who actually saw it, and not just concept pics on the nobile website.
Kind regards
Mathias

it releases with minimal force. And putting it back together worked also well. Easy system.
The chickenloop is different, since it is hard plastic. So far I had no problems with it, but I only used it hooked in, no unhooking. I wonder how it will be after a long usage, if there is any wear.
I didn't fill ti with sand, so no idea if this would affect it in any way, but I doubt it.
