Hey,

Had the chance of testing the 128 on the weekend, but up against the Naish Thorn 08, and the Nobile 666 08.. and they slaughtered the Cab Custom. (in my honest opinion).

I think Cab have never really excelled at boards, and i just feel that the new custom they've designed, is slightly old school, compared to a lot of the other brands bringing out wood-core (snow board Tech) style board, with stiff edges, for increased pop, but descent flex for super smooth landings etc...

Just my opinion.
Later.

Hi bern dogg

I'm 67kg and was between the 133 and 128 and finally ended with the 133. The 133 has better low end for sure and it can handle strong winds pretty good. I use it in all conditions.

I don't find the Custom old school at all, its a pure wakestyle board with explosive pop.

Thnks Soleas for your honest feedback on 128 vs 133. How much wind can 133 hold down on high end? 30+knots???

Sakellaropoulos, i just sold my 2008 nobile 666 and to each his own. I just enjoy riding faster and much stiffer board, cab custom offers that. swing weight is much better as well. However, I do respect your opinion.

133. With the custom, the bigger the better. I ride boots and use the 138 Custom. (180lbs.)

I don't know about the new custom, but for me I still choose my old custom over those hitech woodcore, flextip boards everytime. So I keep the new hitech ones as back up!!! :thumb:

I'm 170 lbs and have an '07 Cab Custom 133. Lots of rocker that seems to eat up the chop and it jumps great. I think the rocker also helps in terms of not getting over powered. The one thing I really like about the board is how "skatey" it feels. I haven't tried the quad concave '08 model but it looks interesting.

I ride everything Cabrinha, and I love their stuff, however when I was looking to buy a board about a month ago, I demoed the 08 Custom, then the Lunacy. I have to say the custom was junk in the trunk compared to the Lunacy, sick graphics, and pop, but was really rough riding. You get jarred evertime u hit a chop.
