Misfit 2006

Postby firefly » Tue Jan 22, 2008 10:49 pm

I'm looking at getting a second-hand 2006 Misfit 136 for a good price and wanted some input on whether this would be a good board to get. I'm 85kg and ride both flatwater and in the sea. I'm currently riding a fairly heavy home-made plywood board based on a 141cm Nobile 666 and although it performs well on flatwater in lightwind conditions, I'm looking for a lighter board which will allow me to progress further both in the sea and on flatwater.

Any advice?

Cheers

I rode that for half a season and hated it. Its supposed to be this really aggressive board with huge pop but it seriously didnt do it for me. I've got a board that you would love for really cheap. PM me and I'll give you the details (the board had been used only a couple times)

Thanks for the advice and offer AD but I live in Australia and I'm looking for something more local.

No worries mate! Been looking at Cardboards recently - good reputation for quality custom made boards, but at the moment I'm looking for something cheaper that'll see me through the current season.
