I just read, that Arkefly, which flew from Amsterdam to Fortaleza directly will stop it flights from March on.
Arkefly has an agreement to fly with TACV (Cabo Verde Airlines) and flights from Amsterdam will go via Cabo Verde islands from March on.

From a guest that had booked a flight with TACV in August:

"TACV has cancelled the connection from germany to fortaleza during the summer season."

Maybe TACV has decided to trade flights from Germany for flights from Amsterdam?

From our guests experience, both Arkefly and TACV are the two companies that have had most delays (up to 28 hours) in transporting people and over 12 days in transporting luggage...

Such a pity because there are very few airlines offering direct flights from Europe to FORtaleza. Apart from TAP (with daily flights from Lisbon), Edelweiss Air seems to be the only other reliable airline with weekly flights from Zurich (every Wednesday).
