Wipika kites

Postby Renaldo » Wed Feb 27, 2008 11:30 am

I ride Wipika kites. Started in 2002 on the Hydro, managed to get some bucks and got Indy's in 2006.Excellent kites. What I want to know is what's happened to Wipika. As far as I know they the first kiteboarding company around, but nowaday they seem to have dissappeared of the scene. They still have website but hardly ever updates on teamriders etc. What info is their on them

They are slow...too slow in my opinion to survive on the´s a pitty!

My first kite was a Wipika Free Air 11,5, bad kite...nevermind, but part of the evolution :)

My friend has some Wipika WIPs and I really like the bag. It looks as the most comfortable bag to me. Big and small, pockets, possibility to have air in struts, comfy to carry etc.

Yes, the 2006 Matrix and Indy should be good kites, but they loose sales in favour to other brands...
