When did you start kiting?
I started kiteboarding in 2000 when I was 11 years old. When I was 12 I got my first kite and board!
What other sports did you do prior to kiting?
I was always flying kite on the beach and surfing!! I also skateboarded a lot!!
Where do you kite in HOLLAND?
On the North sea! I live really close to the sea, it’s a 5min bike ride! The town where I live is called Noordwijk
What was your first contest?
My first contest was the Dutch Champion chips. You had to be 14 years old to compete. And when I finally turned 14 I entered the contest and won!
How long do you see yourself competing?
I hope a lot more year. The next 5 to 10 years I’ll be on the tour for sure!
Music?
All different kind of music! It just depends what mood I’m in!
Loves ?
I love to kite with my friends, travel, meet cool people I just love live!!!
HATES?
I hate people who don’t come on time and I hate it when my flight is delayed.
What think for you kiting in BG?
I don’t know what to expect from BG cause I’ve never been there. But I would love to come ones!
Any advice for people just getting into the sport?
Take a lesson before you begin. And enjoy every second you are hanging on the kite cause live is short!
