Kiteboard Photography Question - Waterproof Housings

Postby mobettah » Fri Mar 21, 2008 8:00 pm

I have a Sony Camcorder (HDR SR1) and and looking at getting a waterproof housing for it to shoot kiteboarding videos in the water. Unfortunately the sports pack from Sony is not compatible. Has anyone use the Aquacam EX from Aquatix International? Or does anyone know of another manufacturer that makes them?

What do all the surf photographers use?

Check out

This guy makes some great water housings, they are not made for diving though.
It's called a surf housing, made to go down 15 feet max. I got one made for my still cameras, and it is fantastic! They're not cheap, but they are worth every penny!
