Flyboards by Flysurfer - Any impressions?

Postby style121 » Sat Apr 19, 2008 3:19 pm

I'm looking mainly at the Flyradical board. Has anyone got any experience with these boards? They've just been launched locally here in South Africa so nobodys had a chance to try them out yet.

I rode the Flyradical L in flat water (Egypt) - nice board (likely equivalent to this year's Spleene Rip Plus).

Switched to the Spleene Rip34 (2007 version of what probably is the Flyradical M) and was even happier.

Just as a point of reference: All current Flydoors and Flyboards are designed by Spleene (http://www.spleene.com/); because of the similarity of the product line(s), I would not expect too much difference in performance between the respective boards.

I'm a JN rep and ride a Spleene Rip 34 (same as the flysurfer board).

Will probably swap to a JN Honey Evo this year, but not because of any massive difference in performance, the Rip rips!
