Naish sol or Underground flx

Postby K1W1 » Fri May 16, 2008 10:39 am

Looking at updating to a 2008 board. I want to get a board with either a wood core, or full wood construction, for strength and durability. The Sol seems to be very flexi, which I assume would be good in choppy conditions, and less stress on my old joints. I like my 2006 132 underground flx but am unsure if the new wood core will be too stiff, and therefore hard on my knees.

Any feedback about these boards would be appreciated. I should be able to try out a naish Sol at some stage, but the Underground will be a bit of a problem, as the local kite shop hasn't got them in yet. I need a board now, as I’ve just sold my old board.

I'd say go for Kiwi performance and quality, can't go wrong.
I am biased! But truely believe in Underground, almost a decade... soon.

I'd say FLX if you're gonna play with waves, SOL if you gonna freride on flat and chop

UG for sure. You can have them make you a custom as well, for hardly any more money.
I have bad knees, and the UG is the only board I can ride all day long in any chop.
07/08 = absolutely perfect!
Sure the Naish is a great board, just not for me.

Also consider which pads you find more comfortable. Its a small thing but makes a big difference.
