The next couple days are suppose to be light and varible. Then on the weekend 10-15. Which means maui will be 20 +

Go to ikitesurf.com and check the wind for Kailua and Kite Beach over the past week. You'll see the difference between the wind on Maui versus the wind in Kailua. I'd say to bring your 7m and your 11m, and a bigger board. If you bring a smaller board and need a bigger one, they do rent boards here, but not kites.

As far as Kailua forecast on ikitesurf.com, they generally forecast about 5 mph higher than it is. Another pattern that I've noticed is that their forecast matches the gusts, not the average. If they show a forecast of 17 mph, then the gusts will be about 17 mph with the average about 5 mph less.

I am on Maui now....I brought my 7/8 rrd and my 11 gk sonic. I have used both and have had a ball. I though the RRD would be a bit small but it has been perfect for the big winds at Kitebeach. Good winds
