Vietnam Mui Ne - good inexpensive hotel? or rooms?

Postby fun2kite » Sun Dec 14, 2008 4:47 pm

Hello all,

going to Mui Ne for the week of Chinese New year. So it is going to be crowded.

Anybody can recommend a good inexpensive (mid range $25 - $50 US is it mid range )
accomodations? I'd prefer to have AC.

What are my choices other than well known hotels (which are already booked anyway).

Also, how to I book myself a taxi ride from the airport? Can somebody give any numbers I can call to do it? (I'd need somebody to understand english for me to book it.)

Also, if somebody is renting a HOUSE there and have rooms to share, I'd be very interested to share it. I'll be there Jan 23rd - Jan 31st 2009.

Many thanks.

Dmitry.

Try Kim N'gan Guesthouse five-ten minute walk away from kite beach. 20 dollars a night got us a bungalow right on the beach with A/C and a substantial breaky included. As for taxis from Ho Chi Minh, we took a bus which was booked by our hotel. English didn't seem to be a major problem for anyone in the tourist trade. Ride took about 5 hours and cost less than five dollars.
