Great power, simple relaunch, stable, simple 4line set up with simple safety, nice turn quality. Thats a start. Had a bandit 9m and it rocked. Had its faults, namely delay in steering that took a little getting used to, and no one pump (I'm lazy and its cold up here). I'll get another someday.

What is the preferred method of self-launching the delta kites?

Do they launch safely, using the "ghost-launch"? ("staked-launch"). Are they as safe to self-launch using this tethered launch technique as are the SLE and Bow kites?

Yes !

They are exactly the same, as far as I've seen and tried :thumb:

I only flown the bandit for a few hours. No real advantage in comparison to SLE appart from relaunch being a bit easier (already dead simple on SLE kites I find)

Really hated the delay in response and bar pressure on the bandit 1. I personally can't have that in a kite. From what I hear these issues should be improved with the dos. so I guess more options for us to choose from which is great!

Have only flown the 09 Rebel. Awesome kite for wave riding. Most fun kite I've flown in the bigger sizes (live in a light wind area with good waves). Give one a try if you can.
