Any opinions on the Freak Dog Tracker?

Postby spork » Sun Apr 05, 2009 6:01 pm

I'm considering the 134 x 40 Tracker. Just wondering how it handles? How is it for upwind? Is it heavy or light? Durable?

Thanks for any info.

I've tried the tracker. Pretty lite, but not too much. Went upwind easy enough. I just would prefer smaller fins, but I feel that way with every board I demo. Can't comment on durability, but it works well in chop.

Thanks. Do you remember how you felt about the amount of rocker it had? Too much, too little?

The boards are definitely durable, I have been riding them and teaching on them for 1 1/2 years now and never had an issue. They are actually lighter than most other boards out there and the shape/rocker makes for a great all around board. The aluminum fins and hurricane graphic is just a bonus.
The price is literally 1/2 the cost of any other production board on the market. :thumb:

Check their website for availability and the sickest prices you will ever find on new kite gear. :bye:

I felt the rocker was fine. Had good pop, too.

Thanks KT. Any chance I could get you to measure the rocker?

I don't have any more of these, call FDK HQ in Daytona Beach, they'll let you know.
