I recently replied to a post asking about kites available in Indonesia that can be found on Alibaba....
Today I received this e-mail from a guy in Canada:

Have you ever heard of a company called CV. Puncak Surfing in Denpasar?
I ordered some kites from them and think they ran off with my money.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

This is a total scam!!!
We receive a request to investigate from few Kitesurfing brand and try to contact these guys!
They actually do not exist as a company, they do not answer to the phone number listed and we could not find the address they claiming.
PLEASE NOTE THAT.....
Kitesurfing equipment is not manufactured in Indonesia.....
There are few legitimate guys trading kitesurfing equipment in Bali and Indonesia:

I am Bernard the distributor F-one kite in Indonesia.
If I can help this Canadian guy who order some kites.
But it should realy check before send any money with Bali kite school or a kitesurf Shop Bali.

I initiated an inquiry from Alibaba and received a reply that the fraudlent company has been removed from their data base.

Alibaba certainly were very quick to address the concerns voiced on this forum.

actually from the last time I checked about one week ago.
The number of fraud company there increased!!!
And I'm afraid that they will find the way to cheat people in others way.
So just be careful, you can ask either me or Bernard for info if equipment is coming
out of Indonesia! We know all the player and kiters here.

On a dutch forum (kitehigh.nl) an Indonesian online store is mentioned and questioned whether or not it’s legit.
It about ‘www.endraprasta.com’, they sell for example 2009 Switchblade IDS 10mW Bar/Lines for:
$739.00
Now that is (around holland) cheap. Please, can you say anything about this??

they will try different names but it seems Alibaba will soon work out a way to stop them.
remember if a price looks to good to be true, then it usually is.

I have been checked to call the phone number in two web site Alibaba and the others one from www.Endraprasta.com no body get the phone it look like the number are not active.
The solution is make sure to know where you order anything online.About the payment on line the are some like paypal who will guaranty a save transaction.
